Our New Executive Leadership Team
On June 12, 2024, Steves & Sons, Inc. announced a significant leadership transition as part of our long-term succession planning strategy. Edward Galt Steves and Sam Bell Steves II, who have served as CEO and President/COO, have transitioned to co-chairmen of the board of directors.
Edward and Sam Steves have been instrumental in guiding Steves & Sons to its current position as a leader in the industry and major national competitor. As co-chairmen, they will remain actively involved, fostering an innovative vision and overseeing operations of our new molded door skin plant in Athens, Georgia.
The Steves brothers are eager to pass the torch to a sixth generation of exceptional leaders. The new executive leadership team for Steves & Sons now includes:
- Gloria Galt Steves as Vice-Chair of the board
- Sam Bell Steves III (Tres) as CEO
- Doug Gartner as President
- Scott Lovett as COO
