Steves & Sons offers a variety of door categories based on the construction and style of each door. From high-density fiberwood to flush wood doors, our five simple categories make it easy to choose the option that works best for your home.

Flush Doors – Economical and naturally warm, flush doors are ideal for complementing existing wood furnishings and trim. Available in several wood species, including oak, maple, birch, and ash, these doors can beautifully match kitchen cabinetry or enhance bedrooms with coordinating wood molding.

Molded Panel Doors – Offering more design choices than flush doors, molded panel doors provide the flexibility to add architectural character to your home. Choose from 2-panel to 6-panel designs in smooth or textured finishes to create a distinctive look that stands out from your neighbors’.

Wood Panel Doors – Constructed with true stiles and rails, solid wood panel doors combine the warmth of natural wood with timeless panel designs. These doors are perfect for transforming your home into either a cozy mountain cottage retreat or an elegant modern residence.

Glass Insert Doors – Featuring true divided-light designs, these doors create an inviting entrance for spaces such as home offices, studies, or libraries. From clear glass to the privacy of our 1-Lite Obscured options, these doors complement a wide range of décor styles. Individually masked lites make painting or staining simple and convenient. Highlight your pantry with a clear pine pantry door or add a Contour V-Groove design to your study for added style.

Ultra HDF Doors – If you are looking for the appearance and feel of true stile-and-rail construction with enhanced sound reduction, Ultra HDF Doors are an excellent choice. Crafted from high-density fiberwood, these made-to-order doors are available in several styles, including crisp shaker profiles with flat panels or traditional raised-panel and double-hip designs. They are ideal for rooms where sound reduction is important.

Bi-Fold Doors – Convert an existing doorway into a space-saving bi-fold system while maintaining the same styles and designs available in our Flush and Molded Panel door collections.

This is a common question that we hear on a daily basis.  For most interior flush and molded panel doors we do not recommend cutting over 1/2″ of an inch off the total width or height of a door.  The 1/2″ and under cut downs will need to be preformed on both the top (1/4″) and bottom (1/4″) rails of the door.  This will ensure that structural integrity of the door will remain.  If cuts need to be made greater than 1/2″ of an inch, please contact customer service; we can special order any size of interior flush and molded panel doors and save you the headache of cutting the doors down.

For any other doors, we do not advocate the cutting of the doors. And remember, any cuts to a door will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

For the closest match, we recommend contacting our Customer Service team directly.
